White Billy Boom Caps

Psilocybin Mushroom Strain Guide

Origin

White Billy is a refined isolation derived from the popular Hillbilly Pumpkin strain, which itself originates from the classic Hillbilly lineage. The original Hillbilly strain traces back to Arkansas and has remained a staple in mycology circles since the 1990s. It’s important not to confuse White Billy with Albino Billy, as they are distinct variations.

Appearance

White Billy is a psilocybin cubensis variety known for producing large, squat mushrooms with wavy caps that give them a distinctive pumpkin-like appearance. While the original Hillbilly strain typically yields a mix of smaller fruits alongside the occasional thicker specimen, this variation tends to grow almost exclusively large and dense.

Leucistic in nature, the caps display a light golden-brown coloration, contrasted by darker gills that become especially pronounced along the rippling edges. Individual mushrooms can reach impressive sizes, with some exceeding 100 grams in wet weight.

Expected Experience

White Billy is considered slightly more potent than the standard Hillbilly, while still maintaining a relaxed, social-friendly profile. Users often report waves of yawning followed by broad smiles and bursts of laughter, with experiences commonly described as euphoric, friendly, giggly, and gentle.

This strain is well known for its lighthearted and approachable nature, making it an excellent option for those new to psychedelics. Its tendency to encourage laughter and a sense of connection makes it especially popular in social settings. It’s also favored for its ease of microdosing and overall manageability, though even small amounts can have noticeable effects. As with any variety, it’s best to approach dosing gradually and with respect.

Dr. Delic’s Field Notes

When old friend’s gather mushrooms follow, or least with my friends they do. There was about ten of us in the sticks of Maine near Mount Katahdin. We had everything needed for a quality evening with a couple of guitars, a fire, some good apple shine and of course some White Billy Mushrooms.

“The clearing became our playground, and I felt very in touch with it. I laid my face against the grass and dug my fingers into it. I threw around the blankets and pillows. I was feeling very innocent, very childlike and new. I was laughing like a fool. It wasn’t shallow laughter, either; it was whole body laughter, guttural laughter, orgasmic universal laughter. I was babbling to everyone about everything, laughing and babbling and playing in true innocent childlike perspective”

Nights like these last for eternity.
