Most Valuable Producer (MVP)

The Most Valuable Producer is a recent hybrid pigmented strain that combines True Albino Teachers and Melmac Penis Envy. Little is known about the original mycologist or team that produced them, but they are prolific in the Denver Colorado area so maybe their origin starts there. The name is a play on the sports term MVP or most valuable player because of this strains ease in quickly colonizing bins. In addition, those colonies then produce significant number of fruits that are also solid in potency making them a great strain for growers and consumers.

The Most Valuable Producer mushroom strain earns its moniker due to its remarkable capacity for rapid and plentiful production. These mushrooms typically feature a white, robust stem and yellowish-beige caps reminiscent of bottle caps, characterized by wavy edges. In their initial stages, younger mushrooms may display darker brown caps. The appearance of the MVP mushroom bears a striking resemblance to Penis Envy strains and is occasionally likened to uncooked ravioli.

The MVP is typically an average potency making them ideal for beginners or social settings. We would put them on par with Hillbilly varieties. Giggling fits and slight tracers are common, but it is easier to control one’s movements and lacks a disorientating feeling that more high potency mushrooms can produce. However, do not underestimate them as all mushrooms on higher doses can lead to some intense experiences.
