BAPER
Psilocybin Mushroom Strain Guide
Origin
The BAPER strain of mushrooms, also known as *Blue Albino Penis Envy Revert*, has a fascinating and somewhat murky origin story, rumored to have been developed by a forum user going by the name “phillygoldenteacher.” The strain’s unique history is tied to the concept of a “revert,” which refers to a mutated strain of mushrooms that reverts back to its original genetic form. In this case, the strain originated from *Albino Penis Envy* (APE), a potent and highly regarded strain known for its frequent mutations.
Albino Penis Envy, like other mutations, often undergoes genetic variations, and in some cases, these mutations lead to a reversion back to a more “normal” appearance or genetic makeup. The BAPER strain is an example of this reversion process, where the mutated Albino Penis Envy genetics stabilized and reverted to a form that closely resembles the original *Penis Envy* strain while still retaining the unique characteristics of APE.
Appearance
BAPER mushrooms have a unique and striking appearance. The mushrooms typically feature thick, dense stems that are white to pale in color, often with a slightly bluish tint, especially when bruised, which indicates the presence of psilocybin. This bluish hue is one of their defining visual traits, hence the “Blue” in the name. Caps are usually pale white or light gray, with a smooth texture. Unlike some other strains, BAPER mushrooms have reduced or no pigmentation in the caps due to the albino traits, which can make them appear ghostly or translucent.
Overall, the combination of thick, sturdy stems and pale, bluish caps give BAPER mushrooms a distinct, almost otherworldly appearance, making them visually striking as well as potent.
Expected Experience
BAPER mushrooms offer an intense psychedelic experience due to their high psilocybin content. Users typically report vivid visual effects like vibrant colors and shifting patterns, along with deep introspective thoughts and emotional insights. The experience can feel immersive and spiritual, often bringing a strong sense of connection to nature or the universe. Trips usually last 4 to 6 hours, with quick onset and a powerful peak, making this strain best suited for experienced users who can handle its potency.

Dr. Delic’s Field Notes
When you around psychedelics for a long time it’s possible to have both good and bad experiences. One thing I try to remember when I’m overwhelmed is that first this feeling will not last and second, I actively wanted to do this. A little music never hurts either. This is a little blurb from my journal during one such moment during a BAPER trip.
“Then I remembered something Terrance McKenna said. He said if you ever find yourself in trouble…hum or sing. So, I started humming the melody to Road Trippin’ by the chili peppers.
When I was humming, it was resonating throughout my body. It was like when a bee or a fly goes near your ear, and you get that buzzing sound and feel. Well, it was like that coursing through my body in such an amazing way. I drifted off into nothingness for a few moments while doing this. It immediately got me out of my bad thinking pattern.”
Fully loaded and back on good vibes I hit my trip with renewed vigor.
